Camping Trip to Cunningham Falls

We took our first family camping trip this past week, and overall it was a success. Our new tent is really nice (and BIG), the campground was great, and the boys slept well. Gideon did get pretty wiped out and wasn't feeling too well by the end of the trip (reference last picture), but he still said he loved the trip. Cunningham Falls State Park is in Thurmont, MD. It's about an hour away, right next to Camp David. It's a great spot, with a lake for boating and swimming, and a nice playground, and easy and hard hiking trails- we highly recommend going!

Gideon's "star." He wanted to show it to Grammy

Joel and Uncle Paul

The rest of these are photos from our first time out in the canoe (well, all except Kelsey). This first one is the tiny turtle we found swimming by us- note how small he is even compared to Gideon's hand. Tiny!

This is a video I got this morning of what Gideon and Joel were up to while I was doing dishes. It's so fun when they play together.

JC Penny pics of the boys

These are the pictures we got from our adventure at JC Penny with the boys today. We went along with the Zubas, and it was quite interesting trying to get nice pictures of all of these rowdy little boys. I think mine turned out well. Yes, these pictures are copyrighted, but you are allowed to share them electronically. If anyone wants a print of any of these, I can order them for you. Of course, you can just ask me and I probably already have a bunch extra- I spent way too much money on the package I bought and will have tons of those little wallet sized ones. But the subjects are so cute- what am I to do? Kelsey says I continue to valiently do my part to stimlate the economy. ;)

May Pics

Joel's 6 month picture with Thomas. He's getting alot bigger!

Gideon still LOVES his camera from Aunt Debbie!

This is Joel's favorite face- chew on the lower lip. I think it's pretty cute.

Or, chew on the blocks...

The boys have a great time playing together- I hope this trend continues for all of their lives.

Here are a couple pics of our stop at the Davis' to see the triplets:

Joel looks HUGE next to Jack and Luke!

Here's Eve- the one girl of the three

Charlotte took a liking to Joel immediately

And finally, some pictures of our trip to Raleigh. It was great to get all the siblings together for once. Even Dave, who we won't be seeing until Thanksgiving.

We went to Chuck E Cheeses for Hank's 2nd B'day. I think the uncles had as much fun as the kids. They certainly used more tokens.
The birthday boy!
